(A TRAUMA COMES, IT MIGHT STAY - PTSD) The core message of the magazine section is to raise awareness in society and to inform them about invisible illnesses. Precisely because of the passive behaviour of society with regard to mental illnesses, we want to take the first step for them and offer them the opportunity to inform themselves about these topics. Sensitisation and emotionalisation are the essential aspects here. This project was mentored by Prof. Dipl.-Des. Daniel Braun
We got the idea to make a one-pager during our media selection. We liked the idea of adding a touch of life to the graphics. We found interactive engagement with health issues very exciting and insightful.
We did the first draft after we had the basic framework of all the graphics together. It was relatively easy to convert the finished graphics into a different format. We made a few changes in the design compared to the magazine section. The background of the web-page is set in lilac. This meant that we had to change the colour of all the graphics. With a little patience this was no problem.
The possibility to create subpages on a website gave us the idea not only to refer to the trauma outpatient clinics in Germany, but to list them directly on the page. So we developed a graphic that shows Germany and the individual federal states. As soon as you click on one of the federal states, a table appears with the address and contact details of all trauma outpatient clinics in the respective federal state.
