Campaign development, online and social media presence for a critical examination of one's own news consumption ● Digitalisation facilitates our daily access to information, but also poses many problems and challenges. Information overload, filter bubbles and fake news create a great distance between the media and society ● Initiative Proof promotes the responsible use of digital news consumption, encourages reflection on media habits and promotes appreciation of and loyalty to quality media. The use of different sources of information, media literacy and quality journalism are key skills for establishing a safe and well-informed society in the long term.
We live in a modern information society. The media influence our consciousness, drive social change and shape our democracy in all areas. But we are also currently experiencing a crisis of enlightenment: wars and crises are fuelling lies online. Whether on Facebook, Insta, X or TikTok - anyone can publish. There is hardly any quality control. We are overwhelmed by information from all sides, which influences our feelings and our ability to make judgements. Filter bubbles, AI, subjective opinions and the increase in misinformation and fake news make perception more difficult. The result is uncertainty and alienation between news coverage and society. What can we still believe, who can we trust? ●  If we can all publish, should we all be journalists? Scrutinise information, check sources and put facts above feelings. It is up to us to critically scrutinise the media and ensure that they have a positive influence on our society. That's why we support media education, strengthen media skills, support quality journalistic content and contribute to a well-informed and engaged public.
Logo design variations: The "Initiative Proof" logo stands for a strong foundation for the figurative mark, which reinforces the pixel mechanics and spells the initial letters of the Initiative "I" and "P".
(MIXED HEADLINE FONTS) We chose a font mix that represents the connection between digital and analogue on the one hand and the contrasts between clear and unclear on the other. We play with the font mix of the three contrasting yet harmonious headline fonts.
